THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	SCARBOROUGH FAIR (*J Solomons) and GOLDEN ARCHER (TM Musekiwa) were slow into stride.
b)	ANATURA (M Mjoka) jumped slow, losing one length.
c)	GLOBAL GODDESS (JP van der Merwe) jumped slow, losing two lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At the 300m ANCESTRAL PRAYER (R Fourie) was directed outwards away from the heels of DANCING GIRL (*K Strydom) and, as a consequence, brushed BUTTERCUP (R Munger) outwards.
b) 	Leaving the 500m DHANTERAS (X Ndlovu) had to be steadied momentarily when close to the heels of GOLDEN ARCHER (TM Musekiwa), which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. 
c)	In view of the performance of GOLDEN ARCHER (TM Musekiwa) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this mare.


d)	Jockey S Khathi reported that LUCY BELLE did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
e)	SILVER SLIPPERS (M Yeni) returned suffering from a unilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. f)	DHANTERAS (X Ndlovu) returned suffering from a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. g)	Jockey T M Musekiwa was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.4 in that he failed to weigh out at the carded weight on GOLDEN ARCHER. Jockey Musekiwa signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000.00.
