THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	CYBOTIX (L Tarentaal) and HAKAS KRAKAS (JP van der Merwe) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride.
b)	REMEMBER MY NAME (K de Melo) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Leaving the 400m CHAMPION WARRIOR (L Mxothwa), which raced green, shifted out sharply and bumped CHARLIE MALONE (G Wright) outwards onto the hindquarters of AUTUMN MOON (S Khumalo) which, as a consequence became momentarily unbalanced.
b)	STRATOSPHERIC (R Fourie) was held up for a clear run between the 200m and the 100m.
c)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that AUTUMN MOON coughed. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	Jockey K de Melo reported that REMEMBER MY NAME did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	CHAMPION WARRIOR, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer B Donnelly, acting on behalf of Trainer B Crawford, was advised. (TJ)
