THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DRAGONFLY (A Domeyer) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 800 STREET OUTLAW (S Khumalo) raced onto the heels of TCHAIKOVSKY (G Wright) and had to be steadied. b) Jockey G Wright was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.3 in that he failed to ride the horse TCHAIKOVSKY out to the end of the race, thereby prejudicing his chances of obtaining 5th place. Jockey G Wright signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R2375.00 (5th place stake). c) ALL LIT UP, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AE Sands was advised.
