THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MASTERFUL GUY (JP van der Merwe) was reluctant to load. b) ADMIRAL BIRNHAM (C Habib) jumped outwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PINEAPPLE EXPRESS (S Khumalo) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. b) TRIPLE TIME (R Fourie) was hanging in from the 400m and had to be straightened at the 250m. c) PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
