THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PYROMANIAC (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (RS). b) Following the running of Race 2, Jockey C Zackey (BOISTEROUS) felt ill and requested assistance from the Course Medical Staff in the pull up area. They attended to Jockey Zackey on course and transferred him to the Medical Centre. This precluded him from weighing in. The Board acting in terms Rule 66.2 deemed his weight to be correct. Jockey C Zackey was stood down by the Course Medical Officer (dehydration). He was replaced on the remainder of his mounts (Rule 25.12 does not apply). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) FAST LOVE was ridden by Jockey S Khumalo (Jockey K de Melo - flight complications). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) BRENDEN JAMES raced without blinkers (declared 21 September 2022 at 08H57). THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
