Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED A) RADIANT LOVE stood, was slow away and losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. B) CHILE JAM kicked the back gate in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) THE HIGHNWAY MAN (*Y Ramzan) was squeezed out shortly after the start. Jockey M Yeni appeared before the Board with regards to the above incident and was advised to give more room when shifting ground in future. B) AL QAASIM (M Yeni) hung in throughout. C) In view of the Starter's report with regard to RADIANT LOVE (M V'Rensburg), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable to jump on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 03 January 2022 to 09 January 2022 both days included. may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer G D Smith was advised to re-pass on two occasions. C) The winner GREENLIGHTTOHEAVEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer W G C Miller advised (LM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES A) RADIANT LOVE Jockey M V'Rensburg replaced Jockey W Kennedy (14:09 - 02/01/2022). THERE WERE NO RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS SCRATCHINGS A) EUPHORIC insufficient recovery time, Rule 53.5 applies (08:37 - 02/11/2022).
