THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WHAT NOW MY GAL (G Behr) was reluctant to load and was hooded. b) F EIGHT (K de Melo) and SHES ALL GOLD (S Cele) jumped slow, losing one length. c) CLOUD CHASER (M Yeni) jumped awkwardly, losing one length. d) DRACMA (O Noach) jumped inwards and made contact with SHE'S ALL GOLD (S Cele). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After being slow to begin SHES ALL GOLD (S Cele), which raced green, raced detached from the field in the early stages and only responded to Jockey S Cele's urgings from the 350m. b) WHITE WITCH (C Orffer) was hanging in in the straight. c) Jockey JP van der Merwe (COASTAL BLUES) dropped his crop at the 100m. d) COASTAL BLUES (JP van der Merwe) and CLOUD CHASER (M Yeni) raced green, e) Jockeys C Orffer (WHITE WITCH) and S Cele (SHES ALL GOLD) appeared before the Board and were reminded of their obligation to ride their mounts out to the finish. f) In view of the report from the Starter regarding WHAT NOW MY GAL (G Behr), Trainer M Rix will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. g) HUNTING TRIP, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
