THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ESQUEVELLE (W Kennedy) shifted out away from the crop between the 200m and the 150m. b) Jockey M Yeni reported that EDWARD LONGSHANKS did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey C Habib (WHO'S THAT STAR) and Jockey J Gates (GENERAL HANCOCK) reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Trainer A Wright signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that she failed to ensure that the owners colours were available for the horse GENERAL HANCOCK. Accordingly, a penalty of a warning was imposed. e) ESQUEVELLE (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Binda advised (NS).
