THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COLOUR MASTER (S Brown) and MINGSHI (D De Gouveia) lost 2 lengths, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) COLOUR MASTER (S Brown) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) ATLANTIC CITY (M Yeni) changed stride continually in the running. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. Thereafter, Jockey M Yeni reported that the saddle on ATLANTIC CITY slipped back in the running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. c) MINGSHI (D De Gouveia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D C Howells advised (HM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) ATLANTIC CITY : Nothing obvious detected. b) CAPE THUNDER : Fatigued. c) SYX HOTFIX : Returned post-race having cast the right hind shoe. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS
