THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS TEA (*M Katjedi) stumbled leaving the starting stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MORGAN LA FAY (C Habib) raced wide throughout. b) PRINCESS SANTO (J Gates) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. c) Jockey C Ngcobo reported that he felt something amiss with LADY HEIST in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Assistant Trainer J Buckler will be advised to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of this filly on return to stables. d) Jockey C Habib reported that MORGAN LA FAY made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of PERFECT APPEAL (K de Melo) (7.50 lengths, 7/2 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) MAGICALLEE (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
