THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	MOVER AND SHAKER (R Munger) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	POWER BROKER (D De Gouveia) was brushed out by LOVERS LANE (M van Rensburg) which jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
b)	At approximately the 1200m, DESTINY OF SOULS (S Khumalo) was taken back for a number of strides when awkwardly placed on the outside of BREAK POINT (J Gates) and on the heels of POWER BROKER (D De Gouveia).
c)	In view of the performances of DESTINY OF SOULS (S Khumalo) (betting 33/10, distance 7,80 lengths) and TAMARISK TREE (M Yeni) (betting 4/1, distance 9,20 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses.
d)	UNZEN (*K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer R R Sage advised (AH).
