THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KOOL BAIKAL (*K A Brewer) and SIR TALLIN (J P van der Merwe) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The saddle on MASTER OF COIN (M Yeni) slipped back as the start was effected. This was confirmed by the Stipendiary Board. b) SONG OF ANGELS (*P Mxoli) which over-raced in the early stages, jumped a patch at the 1800m and thereafter commenced to give ground to the field from the 500m. c) WEST POINT (R Munger) compounded from the 250m. d) MASTER OF COIN (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Azzie advised (RS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) KOOL BAIKAL abnormal respiratory noise. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
