THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a) 	Jockey K de Melo reported that V V POWER did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	Jockey X Ndlovu reported that CIELO BLU changed stride continually in running. 	The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	In view of the performance of IL COMBATTENTE (K Minnie), which tired quickly from the 300m, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
d)	Trainer E Kaknis was charged with a contravention of Rule 10.5.6.1 in that he failed to notify the local office of the National Horseracing Authority within two (2) business days that GREEK MAFIA had been gelded. Trainer E Kaknis signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R 250,00.
e)	GLOBETONIC, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised. (LM)
