THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	VALERIAS DREAM (M Yeni) was stubborn and difficult to load, and restless in the stalls. 
b)	LA PURA VIDA (A Mgudlwa) kicked the back gates, was removed from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. 
c)	ALPHABETTY (R Fourie) lost three lengths. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	CAN'T CATCH ME (T Godden) was hanging out around the turn and thereafter, was carried in by ZINIKELE (P Strydom) which shifted in early in the straight. 
b)	ZINIKELE (P Strydom) shifted in between the 250m and the 150m, and thereafter rolled out. 
c)	ALPHABETTY (R Fourie) raced green. 
d)	In view of the performances of CAN'T CATCH ME (T Godden) (6.90 lengths, 2/1 in the betting) and LA PURA VIDA (A Mgudlwa) (5.50 lengths, 4/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.  
e)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to VALERIAS DREAM (M Yeni) this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion.  Suspension dates: 10.10.22 to the 16.10.22.  VALERIAS DREAM may not be presented for re-passing during this period.  Trainer P Muscutt was advised. (SL)
