THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, HER ROYAL MAJESTY (A Mgudlwa) became restless and rushed the front gates. This mare was removed from the stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. Thereafter, the mare lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, HER ROYAL MAJESTY (A Mgudlwa) was squeezed out between VISION OF WILL (R Fourie) which jumped out and NEW ORLEANS (K de Melo) which jumped in. As a result, HER ROYAL MAJESTY (A Mgudlwa) lost ground to the field. b) VISION OF WILL (R Fourie) was hanging in from the 400m and shifted in, in the concluding stages. c) In view of the performances of HER ROYAL MAJESTY (A Mgudlwa) (5.65 lengths, 10/1 in the betting) and MAGICALLEE (K Matsunyane) (4.90 lengths, 4/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) DUNYAA (AUS) (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P M Gadsby advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) HER ROYAL MAJESTY : Abrasions left front and scalped left hind. b) MAGICALLEE : Nothing obvious detected. c) PRINCESS SANTO : Not striding out right front. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: a) None
