Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DARK TIDE (K Matsunyane) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) SILLY FELLA (M Yeni) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, RATTLE BAG (M Khan) became unbalanced and had its hind quarter turned inwards when bumped by DARK TIDE (K Matsunyane), which was brushed in by ROSE WILLOW (*P Mxoli), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) MR BODACIOUS (*K A Brewer) commenced to over-race and as a consequence, raced awkwardly with its head up around the turn and into the straight. c) Leaving the 400m, JACKMAN (J Penny) was steadied momentarily in anticipation of being awkwardly placed between SILLY FELLA (M Yeni) and GOLDEN TUNE (*S Sosibo), which rolled in and was immediately straightened. d) SECRET GIVER (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G H van Zyl advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) GOLDEN TUNE raced equipped with blinkers (declared 13 October 2022 at 07H47).
