Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	SHARE HOLDER (AUS) (M van Rensburg) was difficult to load. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer C Spies was advised (PHvdW).		
b)	REUNION (R Simons) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c)	OUTOFTHEDARKNESS (K de Melo) and ANOTHER LEVEL (M Yeni) were slow losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) 	As the start was effected, IKIGAI (C Habib) was buffeted between SHARE HOLDER (AUS) (M van Rensburg) and REUNION (R Simons), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
b)	Leaving the 1400m, INDLAMU (*R A Venniker) clipped the heels of SHARE HOLDER (AUS) (M van Rensburg), which shifted in when insufficiently clear.
Jockey M van Rensburg was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of SHARE HOLDER (AUS), failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to INDLAMU (*R A Venniker) when he shifted in at approximately the 1200m.  Jockey M van Rensburg signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of seven days.
Suspension dates:  21 October 2022 to 27 October 2022.    	
c)	At approximately the 150m, Jockey M Yeni, the rider of ANOTHER LEVEL, dropped his right-side rein, which he was unable to regain.
d)	Jockey C Zackey reported that NOBLE STRIKER made an abnormal respiratory noise and did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
e)	In view of the performance of WHAFEEF (R Danielson), (distance 12,60 lengths, betting 5/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
f)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to SHARE HOLDER (AUS), this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 16 October 2022 to 22 October 2022.  SHARE HOLDER (AUS) may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer C Spies was advised.  	
g)	FOREVER MINE (J P van der Merwe), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Ndzilana, acting on behalf of Trainer M F de Kock, was advised (RS). 	
h)	SHARE HOLDER (AUS) (M van Rensburg), unplaced, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Spies was advised (MduP). 	
	
JOCKEY CHANGES:
None.

RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER:
a)	IKIGAI raced equipped with a compression mask, ear muffs and without blinkers	(declared 14 October 2022 at 09H52).				

THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED:
a)	NOBLE STRIKER examined post race, nothing obvious detected.	
b)	WHAFEEF brush wound left hind.
c)	REUNION stirrup rub on the right side.
d)	SOUND OF SUMMER coughing post race.
e)	INDLAMU spread its right front shoe in running.
