THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NAIROBI (L Mxothwa), SWEET OHANNA (M Yeni) and PERONZADA (M van Rensburg) were stubborn loading. b) RED SPHERE (M Mjoka) was stubborn loading, jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. c) ALL I NEED IS YOU (R Munger) was stubborn loading and jumped slow, losing two lengths. d) MOTHER EARTH (Y Ramzan) was nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. e) DIE KAT KOM WEER (K Minnie) jumped slow, losing two lengths. f) BURNING MOON (J Mphanya) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 100m BURNING MOON (J Mphanya), which was hanging out from the 400m and NAIROBI (L Mxothwa), which rolled in, brushed. b) Jockey K Minnie reported that DIE KAT KOM WEER made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
