Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	RUN FOR ME (G van Niekerk) jumped awkwardly , losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.
b)	INTIMIDATOR (R Fourie) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	ELEGANT NOBLE (C Orffer), which raced green, raced wide on the latter part of the bend and into the straight.
b)	At the 250m INTIMIDATOR (R Fourie), which was hanging in in the straight, was directed to the outside of BARNBOUGLE (C Zackey) to secure clear running. 
c)	The saddle on BOURNEMOUTH (L Mxothwa) slipped back slightly in running. This was confirmed by a Stipendiary Steward.
d)	Jockey C Zackey reported that BARNBOUGLE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
e)	WILLIAM RUFUS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer DM Kannemeyer was advised. (TJ)
