THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 400m, MYTHICAL TUNE (*C Dicken) was carried out by LOMBARD STREET (R Khathi) which rolled out. As a result, TRITON (S Moodley) was switched out away from the heels of MYTHICAL TUNE (*C Dicken). Thereafter, MYTHICAL TUNE (*C Dicken) which was hanging in from the 200m, had to steady to avoid running onto the heels of LOMBARD STREET (R Khathi) at the 150m. b) In view of the performances of AFROPOLITAN (R Fourie) (12.45 lengths, 5/2 in the betting) and DAWN MISSION (S Khumalo) (18.65 lengths, 33/10 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) ROCK FALL (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
