THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SILVA VIEWPOINT (J P van der Merwe) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey J P van der Merwe did not persevere with his riding from the 200m and thereafter reported that SILVA VIEWPOINT made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) Jockey C Habib reported that ATLANTIC CITY changed stride continually in running.
