GIMMEFABULOUS (K MATSUNYANE) PROVED RELUCTANT PROCEEDING TO THE START AND HAD TO BE LED BY A HANDLER. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE.

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	MISS HANNIGAN (S Khumalo) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
b)	LADY FALLON (R Munger), RANI OF KITTUR (S Moodley) and ELEMBEE (J R Syster) were slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	GIMMEFABULOUS (K Matsunyane) proved reluctant proceeding to the start and had to be led by a Handler. Trainer A Azzie was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended.
b)	Shortly after the start, LET'S GO NOW (C Zackey) and ELEMBEE (J R Syster) came together and bumped when awkwardly placed on the inside of MISS HANNIGAN (S Khumalo), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
c)	In view of the performance of RANI OF KITTUR (S Moodley), (distance 10,00 lengths, betting 16/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.	
d)	Jockey C Maujean reported that CEUTA  did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. 	
e)	GIMMEFABULOUS (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
