THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FOREIGN LADY (A Mgudlwa) was stubborn to load and jumped outwards as the start was effected. b) MIA SOPHIA (C Habib) and STORMZ POWER (G Lerena) were restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 700m, SCARLET WOMAN (S Moodley) had to ease when awkwardly placed on the heels of FOREIGN LADY (A Mgudlwa) which shifted in. Jockey A Mgudlwa signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of FOREIGN LADY, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the horse SCARLET WOMAN (S Moodley) at approximately the 700m. Accordingly, a penalty of a suspension from riding in races for a period of 7 days was imposed. (Suspension dates : 27.10.22 - 02.11.22, bdi) b) FASHION MISTRESS (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P B Muscutt advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) I'VE GOT WINGS raced without blinkers and with cheek pieces (advised 26.10.22/8h30). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) MIA SOPHIA : Abnormal respiratory noise. b) GUEST GETORIXX : Returned post-race having cast the left hind shoe.
