a)	HOEDSPRUIT (R Fourie) and PYROMANIAC (C Habib) were slow into stride.
b)	IRISH TRACTOR (K Matsunyane) was difficult to load.  The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn.  

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to IRISH TRACTOR, this gelding has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion.  Suspension dates: 30 October 2022 to 5 November 2022.  IRISH TRACTOR may not be presented for repassing during this period.  Stable Employee J Crawford advised (GT).
b)	BINGWA (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer J J van Vuuren advised (LN).
