THE STARTER REPORTED: a) IDEAL HEART (Wes Marwing) was slow losing one length. b) APACHE LOVE (*P Mxoli) stood losing many lengths. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to APACHE LOVE, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 2 November 2022 to 08 November 2022. APACHE LOVE may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer C I Jonker advised (GT). b) LORNA LILLY (S Khumalo) over-raced in the early stages. c) CHE BALLERINA (C Maujean) raced green, thereafter Jockey Maujean reported that CHE BALLERINA did not stride out freely in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) NAMAQUA BLOSSOM (R Danielson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Houdalakis advised (LN). Race 2 contd. JOCKEY CHANGES: a) SOLO DIVA was ridden by Jockey R Munger (declared 29 October 2022 at 09H09).
