Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	QUNETRA (J Penny) and MUSTATHEEF (K Derere) broke through the gates.  Both horses were subjected to a veterinary check, passed fit to race and reloaded.
b)	CUTBACK (A Arries) fly-jumped out of the stalls and lost one length.
c)	KAROO WINTER (M Thackeray) was slow away losing 3 lengths. Trainer B Stidolph advised to re school this filly.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a)	As the loading process commenced QUNETRA (J Penny) and MUSTATHEEF (K Derere) broke through the front of the stalls.  Both horses were restrained by their riders, subjected to a veterinary check, passed fit to race, and reloaded.   
b)	WHY MADERA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.  Trainer D Swanson advised (SN).

JOCKEY AND/OR EQUIPMENT CHANGES:

a)	WHY MADERA (N Takawira) raced with compression mask on. 
b)	MUSTATHEEF (K Derere) raced with blinkers off.
