THE STARTER REPORTED: a) VOLCANIC LIGHTNING (K de Melo) lost 1 length. b) ICE KINGDOM (M Yeni) stumbled leaving the stalls. c) MAJESTIC REIGN (T Godden) was restless in the stalls. d) ASARULUDU (*R A Venniker) jumped outwards losing 2 lengths. Thereafter this gelding was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ASARULUDU (*R A Venniker) raced wide in the early stages and was green. b) TRULY BRAVE (A Mgudlwa) was hanging out throughout. c) Jockey C Habib reported that he felt something amiss with MASK ON in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) ICE KINGDOM (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
