THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after entering the straight AGRESSIVO (K de Melo) was switched to the inside of JOSHUA HOTSNAKE (R Fourie) and thereafter to the inside of ARROW'S MARK (J Gates) to obtain a clear run. b) HIGH VELOCITY (A Arries) was hanging in from the 300m. c) At approximately the 200m AGRESSIVO (K de Melo) was momentarily inconvenienced between FIERY DUKE (K Matsunyane) and ARROW'S MARK (J Gates), which rolled in. d) Shortly before the finish, QUEST FOR THE BEST (A Mgudlwa) took two awkward strides when racing in restricted galloping room between FIERY DUKE (K Matsunyane) and the inside running rail. e) In view of the performance of A THOUSAND TUNES (T Gumede) (7.80 lengths, 100/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) JOSHUA HOTSNAKE (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
