THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MR PIGALLE (T Godden) was hanging in from the 350m. b) At the 100m, BABY SHOOZ (K Matsunyane) which had come to the end of its run and was losing ground to the field, was momentarily eased off the heels of DESOLATE ROAD (S Veale), which was switched out off the heels of AL'S MY DADDY (M Yeni) to continue its run. As a result LORD WYLIE (C Habib), which was racing on the outside of BABY SHOOZ (K Matsunyane) was inconvenienced. c) Apprentice R Venniker (PATRONAGE) briefly dropped her left side rein on two occasions over the final 100m. d) IDEAL ACT (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer N Roscoe acting on behalf of Trainer D Kannemeyer advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) BABY SHOOZ raced without ear muffs (advised 08.11.22/13h31).
