THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS NICOLE (J Penny) was stubborn loading. Trainer C I Jonker was advised to reschool this mare prior to her next engagement (PHvdW). b) GOLDEN ASPEN (M van Rensburg) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, WARSHIP (M Yeni) was steadied in anticipation of running onto the heels of VIVACIOUS SPIRIT (G Lerena) which hung out badly from the 300m. b) Jockey K de Melo reported that NO TIME IS TAKEN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) GOLDEN ASPEN (M van Rensburg), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Spies advised (MdP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) Jockey K de Melo (NO TIME IS TAKEN) weighed out at 54,1kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
