THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	JAQUAR CAT (X Ndlovu) was stubborn loading and jumped slow, losing one length.
b)	ISN'T IT BLISS (D Bogaleboile) and ROGER THE DODGER (C Maujean) jumped slow, losing one length.
c)	SOUTH EAST (R Munger) was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	Jockey R Munger reported that SOUTH EAST raced awkwardly on the bend, was uncomfortable in its action and he did not persevere with his riding in the straight. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	Jockey R Fourie reported that POTENTE did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	Jockey S Khathi reported that he felt something amiss with WINTER ASSEMBLY. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.


d)	Jockey M Mjoka was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.4 in that he failed to weigh out at the carded weight on ISN'T IT BLISS, resulting in a change of rider. Jockey M Mjoka signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000.00.
When assessing this matter, the Stewards considered that Jockey Mjoka would have weighed out at 2,5 kg over the carded weight.
e)	TIPSY TINA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Z Oosthuizen was advised. (LM)
