a)	As the start was effected, MASTER OF LAW (K de Melo) fly-jumped leaving the starting stalls, losing 2 lengths. This resulted in this gelding losing ground to the field.  
b)	Jockey M Yeni reported that BUGSY MALONE did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
c)	Jockey K de Melo reported that MASTER OF LAW made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
