a)	Jockey S Khathi reported that BIT OF FUN was blowing post-race. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b)	Jockey M Mjoka reported that STATEOFUSA took a number of awkward strides on the turn and he did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	Jockey R Munger was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he misused his crop by striking FLINDERS RANGE more than 12 times in the entire race. Jockey R Munger signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000,00. In determining penalty, the Board took into account the distance over and manner in which Jockey R Munger used his crop and the number of strikes (14) over the permissible level. 
d)	Jockey S Devoy was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he misused his crop by striking OPERA SWING more than 12 times in the entire race. Jockey S Devoy signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000,00. In determining penalty, the Board took into account the distance over and manner in which Jockey S Devoy used his crop and the number of strikes (14) over the permissible level. 
e)	DAMMI, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (LM)
