THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MISS SCALETTA (P Mxoli) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) LEGEND OF ARTHUR (R Fourie) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of ARISTOTLE (K Matsunyane), (distance 8,30 lengths, betting 10/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) In view of the performance of DON'T CRY FOR ME (P Strydom), (distance 14,00 lengths, betting 14/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that PARISIAN WALKWAY took no interest in running.
