a)	BRANDENBURG (*S Hlengwa) was stubborn to load. Trainer N Kotzen was advised to re-school this gelding.   

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	MAJESTIC POWER (C Dicken) over-raced in the early stages. 
b)	At the 1000m, CALLMEMRGREENLIGHT (R Fourie) was switched out off the heels of ONE SHOT WONDER (A Mgudlwa). Thereafter, CALLMEMRGREENLIGHT (R Fourie) was allowed to improve and raced to the front. 
c)	At the 900m, PHAKA IMALI (A Arries) was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of SON OF RAJ (T Godden).
d)	FAMILY FAVOURITE (R Khathi) was hanging out from the 300m. 
e)	Jockey C Dicken reported that he felt something amiss with MAJESTIC POWER in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
f)	In view of the performance of ONE SHOT WONDER (A Mgudlwa) (15.60 lengths, 8/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
