THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) At the 300m, WHIZ BANG (S Veale) had to switch in off the heels of TRIP TO NEBRASKA (*S Hlengwa) to obtain a clear run. Thereafter, WHIZ BANG (S Veale) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. b) At the 200m, TRIP TO NEBRASKA (*S Hlengwa) had to switch out off the heels of SEWELO (M yeni) to obtain a clear run. c) Apprentice M Katjedi reported that he felt something amiss with RUN FOR RICKY in the running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride from the 200m. d) Jockey C Habib reported that WILDSTYLE made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey M Yeni reported that SEWELO did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) ALLAROUNDTHEWORLD (GB) (A Mgudlwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G I Rich advised (NS).
