THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LET'S CRUISE (R Simons) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 900m, SILVER MENSA (K de Melo) had its hindquarters turned in when bumped by HEART AND MIND (M Yeni), which was directed inwards in order to secure cover behind runners. Jockey M Yeni appeared before the Board and was advised to react timeously to avoid these types of instances, going forward. b) At approximately the 100m, Jockey R Simons, the rider of LET'S CRUISE, whilst attempting to change crop hands, briefly lost his grasp on his crop, which he was able to regain. c) LET'S CRUISE (R Simons), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A G Laird advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) SILVER MENSA raced without a tongue tie (declared 19 November 2022 at 09H59). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) ARROW SKY coughing post race. b) HEART AND MIND cut into right hind. SCRATCHED: a) HIGH DISTINCTION elevated temperature (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies).
