a)	SUMMER SONG (A Domeyer) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	BLIND FAITH (JP van der Merwe) was unruly proceeding to the start and had to be led by a Handler. Thereafter, BLIND FAITH (JP van der Merwe) reared, broke free from the Handler, proceeded to the service road, was taken in hand, examined by the course veterinary surgeon and passed suitable to race, causing a delay. Trainer AD Steyn was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future engagements, she may be suspended.
b)	Jockey C Orffer reported that FLY BETTER, which was hanging out from the 400m, proved difficult to assist from the 400m. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
c)	ILHA DA MAURICIA (K de Melo) was hanging out from the 300m.
d)	SUMMER SONG (A Domeyer) raced green.
e)	In view of the performance of COLOUR ME QUICK (O Noach) the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
f)	Trainer AE Sands was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he failed to have available the registered colours of the owner/s of the horse COLOUR ME QUICK. Assistant Trainer Miss H Richardson, acting on behalf of Trainer AE Sands, signed an Admission of Guilt and Trainer AE Sands was fined R250,00
