THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, DYCE (S Khumalo) jumped awkwardly inwards making contact with the right front gate. b) Shortly after the start, THUNDERSTONE (R Danielson), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls, and MO THE MAN (C Maujean), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls, came together and bumped. c) DYCE (S Khumalo) hung in from the 300m. d) DYCE (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
