THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	FUTUREWOLFF (J P van der Merwe) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.	
b)	RATTLE BAG (M Khan) was slow losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) 	Shortly after the start, BACK TO BASICS (N Klink) was squeezed out when awkwardly placed between VASILIKOS (M Yeni) and GIANCARLO (R Munger), which rolled in. 
b)	LULU'S BOY (S Khumalo) took a number of awkward strides at the 350m. Thereafter, Jockey S Khumalo reported that LULU'S BOY changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 
c)	Approaching the 300m, FUTUREWOLFF (J P van der Merwe), which was directed inwards to obtain a clear run, was carried in marginally by BACK TO BASICS (N Klink), which shifted in away from the crop and was corrected, 
d)	Jockey M Yeni reported that VASILIKOS did not stride out freely in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. 	
e)	ADMIRALTY ARCH (P Strydom), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
