THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WHERE'S THE PARTY (L Mxothwa), PALO QUEEN (D Ashby) and BAUBLES AND BEADS (S Veale) were restless in the stalls.
b)	WHERE'S THE PARTY (L Mxothwa) and BAUBLES AND BEADS (S Veale) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, CITYSCAPE (C Habib) cast its left front shoe on the way to the start which had to be replaced, causing a delay.
b)	In a tightly bunched field at the 700m NATASIA (*J Solomons) rolled in and brushed the hindquarters of WHAT A STATE (G Behr).
c)	MA BLACK (A Domeyer) and FASHION MISTRESS (K de Melo) were hanging out from the 300m.
d)	Jockey G Behr reported that WHAT A STATE did not stride out freely in running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
e)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding BAUBLES AND BEADS (S Veale), Trainer DR Drier will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
f)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding WHERE'S THE PARTY (L Mxothwa), Trainer SW Humby will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
g)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding PALO QUEEN (D Ashby), Trainer PD Reeves will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
