Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	SOUTH BOY (ARG) (J Greyling) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer J J van Vuuren was advised (JB).	
b)	MORETHANAFEELING (C Habib) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c)	RATTLE BAG (*K A Brewer) was slow into stride.	


THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	SAMOA (*S Sosibo) was bumped out by MORETHANAFEELING (C Habib), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. Thereafter, at approximately the 1000m, SAMOA (*S Sosibo) and MORETHANAFEELING (C Habib) came together and bumped.
b)	Apprentice P Mxoli reported that GOLDEN SPIRAL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. 
The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. 	
c)	In view of the Starter's report with regard to SOUTH BOY (ARG), this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading with a companion. 
Suspension dates: 2 December 2022 to 8 December 2022.  SOUTH BOY (ARG) may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer J J van Vuuren was advised.  	
d)	ESQUEVELLE (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. 
Assistant Trainer C Naude, acting on behalf of Trainer C Binda, was advised (AH). 	

JOCKEY CHANGES:
a)	WHAT A TIGER was ridden by Jockey K Matsunyane (declared 1 December 2022 at  08H11)	
b)	LIZADO: Jockey J Mariba weighed out at 52,7kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
