THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DREAM STAR (L Mxothwa) was nervous in the stalls. b) WHO ARE YOU (T Gould), SANDRA M (C Maujean) and WEEKEND IN SEATTLE (D Ashby) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) EXECUTOR (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 300m. b) Jockey M Yeni (EXECUTOR), which raced green and was hanging in in the straight, dropped his right-side rein in the concluding stages, which he had to re-gather shortly before the finish. c) SANDRA M (C Maujean) returned suffering from a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr J Batt) d) BURNING MOON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GD Smith was advised.
