THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ANTIGONUS (*R Venniker) was hanging in from the 300m, proving difficult to assist. b) At the 250m, MASTER OF DESTINY (S Veale), in anticipation of inward movements of CONGO COMPAQ (G Wright) and ANTIGONUS (*R Venniker), switched out to continue its run. Thereafter, this gelding which appeared to be outpaced by the runners around him between the 400m and 250m, finished its race off strongly. c) PRINCE OF TARANTO (S Moodley) was hanging in, in the concluding stages. d) PRINCE OF TARANTO (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
