THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Following the running of Race 1, in consultation with the Riders', the track condition was changed from Good to Soft to Soft. This change was made retrospectively. b) As the start was effected, MRS GERIATRIX (C Habib) and EXCHANGE STUDENT (K de Melo) came together and bumped. c) MRS GERIATRIX (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
