THE STARTER REPORTED 

A)	WINGS OF FIRE was stubborn loading.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED

A)	At approximately the 300m, WINGS OF FIRE (S Khathi) had to steady and switch out to avoid the heels of ZIG ZAG (M V'Rensburg) which shifted out. Thereafter approaching the 200m, MACH FOUR (R Fourie) became unbalanced when bumped by WINGS OF FIRE, which was awkwardly placed between MACH FOUR and ZIG ZAG, which continued to shift out.
Jockey M V'Rensburg signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to WINGS OF FIRE at the 250m mark when he shifted out. A suspension from riding in races for a period of 7 days was imposed. Suspension dates to be confirmed.
B)	In the concluding stages, ZIG ZAG (M V'Rensburg) had to check to avoid running onto the heels of STORM COMMANDER (W Kennedy), which shifted out away from the crop from the 150m. the outward movement from STORM COMMANDER resulted in WINGS OF FIRE (S Khathi) and MACH FOUR (R Fourie) being carried outwards shortly before the finish line. A race review was called into this incident. The Board after reviewing the footage to this incident in the presence of Jockey's M V'Rensburg (ZIKG ZAG), S Khathi (WINGS OF FIRE) and R Fourie (MACH FOUR) were of the opinion that although an incident had occurred, the result had not been affected and therefore took no further action.
