THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CAPRIANA (*M Katjedi) was stubborn to load. b) GIMME A LULLABY (C Ngcobo) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) PERFECT APPEAL (S Khumalo) was hanging out from the 350m. b) At the 250m, Apprentice M Katjedi (CAPRIANA) briefly dropped his right side rein. c) In view of the performance of YATA (A Mgudlwa) (7.75 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) PERFECT APPEAL (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer N Kotzen advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey C Ngcobo the rider of GIMME A LULLABY weighed out at 56.6kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight of 56kg.
