THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a)	Approaching the 800m, ZAPOTEC (J Gates) was ridden forward and thereafter ran onto the heels of VOLCANIC LIGHTNING (K de Melo).
b)	Apprentice M K Katjedi (JOHN THE GREAT) accidentally dropped his crop at the 500m.
c)	In the concluding stages, DONTSTOPMENOW (R Khati) was switched in off the heels of GRANDE LUPO (A Mgudlwa) making contact with SAKA GOLD (M Yeni).
d)	In the concluding stages, when racing in restricted galloping room AERIAL DISPLAY (S Moodley) brushed POWER STAR (C Habib).
e)	Jockey K de Melo reported that VOLCANIC LIGHTNING was not striding out freely in the running.  The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
