THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	WINTER AIR (D Ashby) jumped awkwardly, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At the 100m Jockey P Strydom (GIMME MORE TIME) hesitated with his riding when racing tight between BEYONDTHEBOUNDARY (S Veale) and BULLITT (K Matsunyane), which rolled out marginally.
b)	In view of the performance of FRENCH MASTERPIECE (*J Solomons), which was hanging out and raced wide on the latter part of the bend, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c)	BEYONDTHEBOUNDARY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P Muscutt, acting on behalf of Trainer A Wright, was advised. (DD)
