THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, MAHARANEE (G Lerena) stumbled very badly dislodging Jockey G Lerena. b) At approximately the 500m, ALULA'S STAR (*P Mxoli) was momentarily inconvenienced when tightened for galloping room between the outside running rail and ALABAMA ANNA (M van Rensburg) which rolled out. c) BON VIVANT (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MS).
